Five structurally different compositions, same Forestwalk ink

Round two of the proof-video redesign: five structurally different compositions, not color swaps. All of them keep the Forestwalk annotation ink (amber + slate, Manrope, Lucide) so the comparison is purely about layout: where the narration lives, how steps are represented, and how much stage the app gets.

Each frame is composed as a complete moment: step caption, target ring, and the outcome tag visible together, so you can judge collision and reading distance honestly.

Also queued from this round of feedback: captions will hold for about 2 extra seconds before the cursor moves, so there is time to read the intent before the action happens.

States

A · Runner rail: the whole narrative lives in a left panel, steps check off as they complete, current step lit. Test-runner energy, strongest fit for the UX-Canary positioning, and captions never touch the app

B · Proof sheet: annotated-document framing on Forestwalk paper, numbered amber pins on targets, notes in the right margin, timeline dots below. Print-proofing metaphor, absolute provenance

C · Camera and minimap: the stage IS the zoomed camera, a corner minimap shows the amber viewport so you never lose the map. Solves zoom context structurally

T · Text at top: caption plate above the app. Clean, but note the eye distance when the action happens at the bottom of the frame

N · Text near the action: caption plate docks next to the target row with the ring and outcome tag. Shortest possible eye travel, needs the collision system to place itself safely
